The Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is designed to provide students with the essential skills and knowledge required to work within the Disability Services sector. Real-Life Experience & Professional Placement
To complete this qualification, students are required to undertake a minimum of 120 hours of professional work placement within a disability or care setting. This hands-on experience allows students to apply their learning in real workplace environments under supervision.
During placement, students will gain valuable insight into day-to-day support work, develop confidence in client interactions, and strengthen their practical skills while working alongside experienced professionals.

All theory components for each Unit of Competency are completed online through our reputable and easy-to-navigate learning platform, allowing students to study flexibly at their own pace while accessing all required learning materials, resources, and assessments in one place.
To support student learning and engagement, weekly online classes are available to all students, providing opportunities to connect with trainers, ask questions, and receive guidance throughout their studies. These sessions help reinforce key learning outcomes and ensure students feel supported at every stage of their course.
In addition to online learning, each unit includes mandatory practical components that must be completed through face-to-face workshops. These practical sessions are designed to develop hands-on skills, simulate real workplace scenarios, and ensure students are competent and confident in applying their knowledge in a real-world community services environment.
