REQUIREMENTS

Admission Requirements

This course is designed for students with prior work or life experience in the business services industry. Experience may include touch-typing, use of Microsoft Office suite, maximising the use of ergonomic office equipment, routine maintenance and troubleshooting of office equipment, delivering customer service and responding to feedback.

 

During this course, you will be required to read comprehensive learner workbooks and textbooks, undertake a range of written assessments and independent research activities, and engage in classroom discussions.

 

Entry requires successful completion of year 10 level English. If you have not achieved this, you can demonstrate this knowledge by completing our pre-course Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment.

 

Course Requirements

  • Stationery (blue or black pen only)

  • Laptop with Microsoft Office (recommended but not mandatory for face-to-face students)

  • Internet access (for distance students)

 

Eligibility Requirements

For students eligible for the Certificate 3 Guarantee:

  • Proof of Australian or New Zealand citizenship or Australian permanent residency

  • Proof of Queensland residency

  • Proof of age

For students applying for credit transfer and/or RPL:

  • An electronic copy of your employment resume

  • Statements of Attainment/Records of Results for any prior qualifications
